MALI: Preparations for construction of Belgrade on water are making progress

Out of 246 facilities so far, 186 have been removed within the first stage of the Belgrade on water and the remaining part will be removed in the next few months, the mayor of Belgrade, Sinisa Mali has said today.

- In that area of the first stage of the Belgrade on water 101 families lived, 90 of them moved out while with the remaining 11 the talks have been in progress. At the Sava coast, there were more than 50 ships and now only six remained which will be removed also very quickly - Sinisa Mali said and the City administration reports in the announcement.

The first investment within Belgrade on water was restoration of the Beogradska zadruga building which is according to the mayor of Belgrade and example of how other buildings will look like in the surroundings.

- In that area, we have the building of the Bristol hotel, Railway station building and other and as we start working on projects of construction, we will also work on the restoration of these facilities. I hope that already next year we will start reconstruction some of them such as the Beogradska zadruga building –the mayor of Belgrade said.
