NBS: Inflation to return within target limits in the second half of 2015

Inflation will get back within its limits of four percent plus-minus 1,5 percent in the second half of the year, the National Bank of Serbia announced on Tuesday.
It will be the consequence of current monetary policy measures, expected correction of regulated prices, first of all electricity as well as low base late last year, of cigarettes and oil derivatives prices decrease, it was stated in the announcement of NBS.
The central bank reminds that inter-annual inflation increased in March to 1,9%, which is still below the lower limit of allowed difference with respect to target.
According to data of the Republic Statistical Bureau,
increase of consumer prices in March totaled 0,7%.
Monthly inflation, almost completely, is a consequence of price increase of
non-processed food and fuel, natural gas and oil derivatives.
Basic inflation in March remained stable, zero percent, which points out that inflation pressures have still been low, it was written at the website of NBS.
