The Guardian, a British magazine, has put Belgrade-Bar train service on the list of "the most spectacular rail journey that you've probably never heard of". The Guardian has made a list of 10 not-so-famous railway lines on which old-fashioned trains are operated.

The list includes railroads in Ecuador, Canada, Australia, France, Madagascar, Japan, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Austria and, of course, the Belgrade-Bar railway.

The Belgrade-Bar railroad is 476 kilometers long, and The Guardian writes that it features about 250 tunnels and over 400 bridges. The magazine put special emphasis on the spectacular view from the Mala Rijeka Viaduct which is almost 200 meters high and half a kilometer in length.
