Condemned prisoner organized joke contest

Certain condemned prisoner from Texas, who is to be executed on June 26, 2007, organized online joke contest and promised that he would tell the best joke when asked if he had the last words.

- I want people to send me best jokes, so that all of us waiting for the execution could continue laughing – says Patrick Night (39), condemned to death for abduction and murder of married couple in 1991.

Night called his Internet site "Dead Man Laughing". The model for the name of his site was the book about death sentence "Dead Man Walking”, which was also screened with Shawn Penn and Susan Sarandon in leading roles.
