Company "Serbian Railways" puts car for transportation of disabled persons into operation

Company "Serbian Railways" announced that it would put the first reconstructed car for transportation of disabled persons into operation on June 16, 2007, that it would establish "call center" and represent new "ORKA" system for electronic issuing of tickets and booking.
Reconstructed passenger car, the first of the kind, will enable railway transportation to the persons in wheelchairs and their escorts. It will depart from Belgrade for Subotica at 10.05 AM. That car will daily operate on Belgrade-Subotica route, and persons with special need will be able to get in the train or come out of it in Novi Sad and Vrbas.
With the establishment of "call center", the passengers will be able to get information in much better and quicker way than before. The number of the “call center” is 011/360-2899, and the center will be available 24 hours a day and up to 30 users will be able to access system at the same time.
The new information system for electronic issuing of tickets and booking will be put into operation on Saturday. This system, named "ORKA", is installed on all nine windows for sale of tickets at the Belgrade railway station.
That software will enable electronic filling out of the tickets and their printing on the printer.
