Turks are moving Cacanska banka to Belgrade - Operations with SMEs will be their priority

The Turks are moving Cacanska banka to Belgrade, Novosti finds out. This is the first move of Halk which acquired the biggest Sumadija-based bank and according to the information of Belgrade newspaper, their business priority will be work with SMEs. They will work both with citizens and entrepreneurs and they are announcing penetration at the market of payment cards.

Apart from headquarters relocation, they are planning to expand business network as well since the bank has only two branch offices in the capital.

-Their advantage is the fact that they are pretty well familiar with local economic situation - Branko Zivanovic, professor at Belgrade banking academy says.

It was recently confirmed also by Turkish ambassador, outlining that Halk bank will follow investors in Serbia and focus especially on SMEs development.
