At the account of Autosaobracaj (AS), whose employees during the recent years have often gone on strike and blocked roads, the state paid nearly RSD 67 m for reimbursement payment.

The head of Autosaobracaj, Srecko Aleksic, in his statement for Tanjug said that out of 153 employees, 151 communicated they want to leave for the option of EUR 200 per length of service. According to him, one worker did not want to apply for a social program since, before he was employed in Autosaobracaj he took reimbursement in the second company and the other employee is a security staff.

-The state paid funds for reimbursements on Friday, March 27, totaling nearly RSD 67 m – Aleksic said.

He invited the employees to come to the company and sign agreement on after-settlement of remaining debts so that their reimbursements would be paid and added that until today, half of the staff did it.

.According to him, reaming debts refer to salaries owned, contributions for pension and health insurance as well as travel costs. According to the decision of the Government of Serbia, ,Autosaobracaj is listed as the company to announce bankrupt. The company’s property is under mortgage, they do not have a single bus and bus stations are mortgaged with Tax directorate due to unpaid tax.

Due to a number of years of decline in Autosaobracaj, and as of last year closing of the main bus station as well, citizens of Kragujevac who travel somewhere as well as citizens from other regions who are in this town, are waiting for buses in inadequate terms.
