Alfa Plam 2014 profit up 93.4%
Vranje-based Alfa Plam (ALFA), whose shares are admitted to the Standard Listing segment of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, has announced business results for the previous year.
Business revenues grew 16 percent to RSD 4.6 billion, whereas the net profit went up 93.4 percent, from 392.2 to 765.3 million dinars. The total value of assets was increased by 11.6% to about RSD 6.9 billion, while the company's short-term liabilities grew 33.1% to RSD 931.2 million, mainly due to increased business expenditures.
Alfa Plam shares gained nearly 52 percent in value during the last year and 17.1 percent since the beginning of the year. With the current share price of RSD 22,320, the market cap of the manufacturer of heating bodies from Vranje is at RSD 3.9 billion (approximately EUR 32.4 million).
