Operators to pay EUR 100 million for 4G license

A total of EUR 21 million have been poured into the republic budget since the February sale of licenses for the use of frequencies that enabled mobile operators in Serbia to expand the coverage of cutting-edge network of the fourth generation. People at the competent ministry expects the next sale of licenses for the use of frequencies, which will become available once the process of digitization of TV signal is completed, to bring even bigger revenues to the budget.
- We expect the sale of licenses for the use of new frequency bands to bring about EUR 100 million in budget revenue - said Tatjana Matic, state secretary in the Ministry of Trade and Telecommunications of Serbia.
