Minister of Economy and Regional Development, Mlađan Dinkić, and President of company "Henkel" for central and east Europe, Herman Dajcer, put the factory of ceresit, building glue, into operation on June 11, 2007. The factory will have annual capacity of 100,000 tons and about 5m EUR was invested in its construction.

Minister Dinkić reminded that that factory had been built in the industrial zone of Inđija in only seven months and he explained that the new factory hired 60 people, so that the company would get 2,500 EUR per employee as the stimulus for employment.

Dajcer said that the annual production of ceresit in Serbia would amount to about 150,000 tons, while the unit in Kruševac produced about 50,000 tons on annual basis and he pointed out that "Henkel" was one of the world leaders in production of building glues with annual turnover of about 5 billion EUR.

The Mayor of Inđija, Goran Ješić, pointed out that the construction of new "Henkel" factory was the miracle of huge proportions, because it had been built in the shortest time ever.

The opening of this factory in Inđija took place in the presence of numerous businessmen from domestic and foreign companies, members of diplomatic corps, among which were the Ambassador of Germany to Serbia, Anderas Cobel, and President of Parliament of Vojvodina Bojan Kostreš.
