Turkish Link tekstil wants to acquire Pirot-based AHA Mura Prvi maj

Company’s Commercial Manager at AHA Mura Prvi maj, Veljko Krstic, said for Beta agency that it is very serious investor whose representatives have been coming for the third time.

-The owner of Link tekstil has been here twice. After the talks at the Ministry of Trade, he said the first option is plant acquisition and that in the beginning they will keep production program of heavy apparel, and then it is planning to develop knit products portfolio– Krstic said.

He reminded that there were two failed privatization attempts of Pirot-based AHA Mura.

The plant with 1.300 people, after bankruptcy of Slovenian AHA Mura has not been operating since September last year.
