Serbian goods gets passport for entire world - Our country takes over 95% of EU standards
Every iron, show or glass made in Serbia will get its “passport” on the way to markets of Europe and world. Certificates which go with a Serbian product will be recognized at the world markets which will significantly facilitate domestic products export.
These certificates contain data on item which guarantee safety to a seller and free item launch for a buyer. Set up of this regime is a commitment of our country also on the way to EU. So far, Serbia took over 95 percent of standards and 75 percent of technical regulations. This field in negotiating process with EU was estimated as one of the most aligned and its alignment implies simpler export of domestic products to world market.

- Implementation of some standards which govern companies is becoming more organized and thsu more profitable. In total result, with standards implementation, Serbian product is becoming more competitive at domestic and foreign market.
Jelena Popovic mentions that standard implementation is extremely important and that, in line with international researches, it increases company profit 0,5 to 15 percent annually. Therefore, our collocutor thinks, that investment of RSD 1.500 to 10.000 for purchase of standards pays off many times.
