Swedish-Lithuanian consortium - first on tender for BIP with bid of 21.4m EUR

The first-ranked bidder on the tender for procurement of "Belgrade Beer Industry" (BIP) is the consortium of juristic persons "United Nordic Beverages" from Sweden and "Alita" from Lithuania.
- The second-ranked bidder on the tender for sale of 4,726,265 stocks, that is, 51.9% of total capital of BIP, is "Pivovarna Laško" from Slovenia - the Privatization Agency announced today.
The first-ranked bidder offered 4.52 EUR per stock, that is, total of 21.4m EUR, investment program of 5.1m EUR, and it unconditionally accepted obligatory social program.
"Pivovarna Laško" offered 2.5 EUR per stock, that is, total of 11.8m EUR, investment program of 9m EUR and unconditionally accepted obligatory social program.
Only these two bidders applied for the tender for purchase of BIP.
If the negotiations with the first-ranked bidder end successfully, the Share Fund and the PRivatization Agency will, in accordance with the deadlines from the REgulation on sale of capital and property on public tender, sign Contract on sale of capital with the first-ranked bidder.
