Production at Milan Topica mineral water plant is starting soon
The plant of mineral water "Milan Toplica" in Tular at Prokuplje should soon start working, Miroljub Paunovic, president of the Prokuplje municipality Opštine Prokuplje, said.
The plant stopped working after
failed privatization, 10 years ago.
-We have been intensively working to start production process and to return these 18 liters per seconds in bottles and launch it to the market. It is the most important first for you who worked here, for our municipality, since this water quality has been famous and which at fairs in Paris and London won gold medals – Paunovic said in front of the group of former employees who gathered in front the entrance of the plant.
Paunovic claims have already been conducted with representatives of the Ministry
of mining and energy where they concluded that there are a few ways to solve this
problem.
We will look for the best and fastest way to start production again, of course in line with the law since the plant is privately-owned – Paunovic said.
Mineral water flows into field
Consortium headed by C market privatized the Milan Toplica plant but as of the moment of privatization production has not started although before that a large sum of money was poured in new production halls.
There are four springs around the plant wherefrom water has been flowing into field so far.
