Fruits and Berries project - Million euros of export more and 150 vacancies

Mutual Serbian-Danish project of support to sector of berry fruit in the south of Serbia, Fruits & Berries resulted in increase of export for EUR 1.000.000 and opening of 190 new vacancies, it was announced today upon the visit of agricultural farms in Kursumlija and Blace.

Agricultural producers were visited by the minister of agriculture and environmental protection, Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic and the ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark, Michael Borg-Hansen.

The project of support to sector of berry fruit in the south of Serbia ("F&B" program) started in November 2010.. "F&B" program was developed based on bilateral agreement and a special agreement on implementation and it is funded by the Kingdom of Denmark and the Ministry of agriculture and environmental protection of the Republic of Serbia in the amount of EUR 9,25 m. The Donation of the Kingdom of Denmark is EUR 5,35 m and the Government of Serbia EUR 3,9.
