Rasim Ljajić talked with representatives of World Bank on reform of pension system

Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Rasim Ljajić, spoke yesterday (June 6, 2007) with the Head of the World Bank's Office in Serbia, Karolin Jungr, about realization of project for consolidation of payment and reform of pension system.

According to the announcement of that Ministry, realization of that project will be financed from the credit of the World Bank in amount of 25m USD, but its realization, although it was put in effect on December 20, 2005, has not started yet.

They also talk about the project for improvement of services at local level, which should decentralize certain functions in the social care system.

Besides Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health will also take part in the realization of that project, which is worth 70m USD.
