The first pipes of new gas pipelines have been installed these days around Serbia but it will be difficult to deliver a cubic of gas for us this way. In the north of Macedonia, yesterday, the construction of local Klecovce - Negotino at the Vardar started and today already at the Turkish – Georgian border, long-awaited TANAP gas pipeline is starting which will deliver gas from Azerbaijani to Turkey.

Trying to provide energy efficiency, both pipelines for Serbia, experts think, are of small importance.

The works on the construction of the main gas pipeline at the Klecovce – Negotino section will be carried out by Russian company Strojtransgaz.

- The section is a part of the project of construction of the National gas pipeline system in Macedonia – it was announced from the Shareholder company "Makedonski energetski resursi".

Russian company should build by June next year 61 km of route out of total 96,6 km. Total project value is USD 75,7 m, provided with the agreement of settling remaining clearing debt between former SSSR and SFRJ.

Significantly more serious project with length of 1.800 km will start today at the Turkish-Georgian border.

-Neither of the gas pipelines is solutions for Serbia - Vojislav Vuletic from the Association for gas explains.
