Mercedes working on Audi TT rival?

There are some interesting rumors on the internet saying that the German giant Mercedes is considering working on an Audi TT competitor.

A very few details have been disclosed so far, but the German magazine Auto Bild reports that the company is considering commencing the work on a sporty coupe that would be based on the next generation of the A-class and equipped with a four-cylinder engine.

If these rumors come true, this model can go into serial production in 2019, which will be followed by the production of a roadster version to compete against popular Audi TT Convertible.
