Gorenje Group posts EUR 1.2 million profit in 2014

According to unrevised data, Slovenia's Gorenje Group turned a net profit of EUR 1.2 million in 2014, while its result in 2013 was a loss totaling EUR 25 million.
The group's revenues grew 0.4% last year to EUR 1.24 billion.
Gorenje's operations were affected by the relations between Russia and Ukraine as well as by the aggravation of economic sitution in Russia and a drop in value of ruble in H2 2014.
- This year we successfully continue our activities aimed at reducing the negative impact of external circumstances as much as possible - said Franjo Bobinac, chairman of the Gorenje Managing Board.
Gorenje Group plans to generate EUR 1.22 billion revenues and a net profit of EUR 6.1 million in 2015.
The group's revenues grew 0.4% last year to EUR 1.24 billion.
Gorenje's operations were affected by the relations between Russia and Ukraine as well as by the aggravation of economic sitution in Russia and a drop in value of ruble in H2 2014.
