Roaming in EU stays at least until 2018

EU member states did not cancel roaming payment in EU,
having postponed it for 2018 earliest but they outlined that roaming costs will
be lower for users of mobile telephony after all.
Roaming prices significantly vary between different operators and numerous
users complain about huge numbers for roaming when they travel to EU, France-Presse
reports.
Last year, the European Parliament approved the plan of roaming cancellation in
the Union by the end of 2015 but the European Council decided to return the proposal
to the Parliament, stating that in the meantime new pricing mechanism should be
introduced which would make roaming costs cheaper. Decrease was not, however,
specified.
