"Autodesk", leading manufacturer of CAD software, announced the purchase of company "NavisWorks" for 25m USD. English company "NavisWorks" produces programs for the parameter planning of buildings, heating plants, refineries, maritime facilities …

Autodesk plans to build the procured technology in its programs, as well as to keep the current palette of "NavisWorks" products. In this way, Autodesk wants to offer complete palette of AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) programs to the users.
