Air Serbia posts 2014 net profit of EUR 2.7 million

According to the release, this company transported 2.3 million passengers last year, up 68% from 2013, while the occupancy rate was at 67%, 3% higher than in 2013.
Air Serbia Cargo shipped 2,700 tonnes of cargo in 2014, up 67% from 2013.
In 2014, this airline added 10 Airbus aircraft to its fleet and had 5 ATR planes restored, while its new charter company Aviolet transported 90,000 tourists.
Air Serbia points out that last year saw the number of passenger and freight destinations grow to 40, in 30 countries, whereas another 35 destinations are covered through cooperation with partners, 11 of which by Etihad Airways.
Last year Air Serbia hired 40 pilots and 400 experts, whereas the technology department employed 44 engineers and technicians to maintain planes at Nikola Tesla Airport.
Air Serbia has over 1,900 employees, including those working at its subsidiaries Air Serbia ketering and Air Serbia ground services.
