Red October interested in Zelezara

Companies ready to invest in Zelezara Smederevo applied to a tender; it was confirmed for Blic yesterday.

Although there is still ten days left until public call for selection of managerial team ends, some names which have serious chances to continue working in Smederevo have already set aside.

One of them is Russian Red October, a company of Dimitri Gerasimenko. Seious competitors are American-Slovakian-Israeli consortium and Swiss company.

As Blic finds out, within the program Serbia offered to IMF, there are three scenarios for Zelezara: sale, professional management and if, the first two fail, bankruptcy. However, IMF does not define period the process will last so Serbia has enough time to save Zelezara.
