(1960) What should you do if your child is scared by Hitchcock’s movies ?

.... On one occasion, Alfred Hitchcock received a protest letter from a viewer: "My daughter watched some French movie in which a man is killed while taking a bath in the tub. After that, she was afraid of getting into the tub. Now she watched your movie Psycho where a woman is stabbed to death while taking a shower. She is now afraid of getting under the shower. Please tell me what to do ?"

Hitchcock sent his reply in the telegram: "Have her dry cleaned".
