Serbian company Prva Iskra-Namenska acquires Berane-based Poliex

Representatives of the Government of Montenegro and consortium comprising Serbian Prva Iskra-Namenska and Slavko Vujisic from Podgorica signed yesterday contract on acquisition of 50,75% stake at Chemical industry "Poliex" Berane.

Tender commission communicated to the Mina-business agency that, in line with contract provisions, a buyer will pay sales price of EUR 138.500 EUR and pour EUR 500.000 in reconstruction of the existing facilities and infrastructure and production process of Poliex.

In the next three years, a buyer will keep the existing headcount of 42 employees who are fully employed and provide 10 full-time new vacancies this year.

Company business comprises safe and legal transport, storage and distribution of hazardous substances.

For the tender needs, the company signed the Contract on consortium with executive manager of Chemical industry Poliex, Slavkom Vujisic.

The council for privatization and capital projects released in mid-September last year tender for the sale of state-owned stake at Poliex. Offers submission deadline was extended in late October by December 8, Radio and Television of Montenegro reports.
