Construction permits in Nis decrease by 30 % as of March 1

The fee for construction land development paid upon legalization of already built residential facilities or obtaining construction permits for new construction, will decrease as of March 1 by 30% in Nis, the city administration announced.

Lower fees will be valid for seven construction zones, out of eight in Nis.

The fee for residentail facilities in the first zone which has totalled RSD 5.900 will in the future cost RSD 3.900 per square meter, the fee in the second will total RSD 3.700, 3.300 in the third, RSD 2.900 in the fourth and RSD 2.500.

For houses and flats in the sixth zone, the fee will total RSD 1.700 for the ones in seventh zone RSD 1.200 per m2, and in eight zone, the fee remains RSD 945.

As of March 1, longer repayment period will be valid and thus citizens who decide to pay the fee in installments will be able to do it in ten years instead in five as it has been the case so far.

Decision on fee decrease and longer payment deadlines was adopted by the City council to help citizens of Nis to legalize their facilities.

According to experts’ estimations, in Nis, 30.000 out of total 100.000 facilities were built without construction permit.
