SERTIC: Serbia has 1500 firms which can export

The minister of trade, Zeljko Sertic said on Tuesday, (February 10) that Serbia has 1.500 firms which can export and that due to ruble value decline; export to Russia has almost been halted.

At the meeting “Belgrade dialogues”, Sertic said that last year Serbia exported to Russia agricultural products totaling USD 307 m, which is almost 65 to 70% more compared to 2013.

Sertic outlined that for the first time Serbia has serious framework for reforms and reminded that for the past 30 to 35 years, we did not have economic policy which would define the country’s direction.
