Electronic application - help to inspectors in fight against unregistered labor

As of today, the employers will find it much more difficult to hire unregistered people and avoid contribution payment. The central registry of compulsory social insurance implemented electronic application which will facilitate control to inspectors.

The head of the Central Registry, Milica Danilovic, says that thanks to that application, inspectors go on site with all data of registered employees at an employer so that everyone found on site, apart from the list, will be considered an unregistered employee.

Inspectors will be able to sanction an employer as well as to give it a deadline to register an employee he hired.

Danilovic says that activities have already showed significant results so therefore the employees found on site were registered after that.
