"Monument to Michael Jackson"awarded in Santa Barbara

The movie "Monument to Michael Jackson" won the award for the best movie - Eastern European Film Award, at the International festival in Santa Barbara which is held this year for 30th time.
The work of a movie director and a scenarist, Darko Lungulov, was shown, as it was communicated in the announcement, in the Program of east-European movies and this was at the same time its American premiere.
Festival director, Rodger Durlings delivered the award to Lungulov and due to extreme interest, the movie had additional projection so it was shown four times in front of the full hall.
"Monument to Michael Jackson" will have another broadcast during next weekend within the Festival winners programs.
Upon receiving the award, Lungulov said it is a great honor for him that his movie is awarded at the festival which sincerely celebrates movies and authors and thus successfully connects some of the best authors, independent authors, educated public and extraordinary program.
At the festival in Santa Barbara, special guests were actors nominated for Oscar: Michael Keaton, Ethan Hawk, Patricia Arquette, Steve Carell, as well as directors and scenario writers Richard Linklater and Damian Cazale who won special acknowledgments.
