SMATSA: A total of EUR 63 m from flight fees

Flight control of Serbia and Montenegro (SMATSA) is planning profit generated from fees for this year totaling EUR 62,86 m, it was stated in the document of that institution which the Government of Montenegro adopted.
As Radio and television of Montenegro reports (RTCG), situation in Ukraine will contribute to redirecting of a large number of flights to this control which will mean a significant increase in the number of flights at the Montenegro and Serbia space.
As it was added, the document comprises expectation that the number of flights increases by 7,7%.
Since SMATSA controls the sky partially above Bosnia and Herzegovina, they expect profit of EUR 6 m from flights over that territory.
Total profit which comprise terminal profit, trainings of pilots and co-pilots, air traffic maintenance is planned at EUR 106 m, and expenditures at EUR 99 m, u where the biggest item is salary for 899 staff.
In gross amount, it is EUR 44,8 m, i.e. EUR 35 m for net salaries.
Podgorica newspaper, Pobjeda, which had an insight in this document states that the average gross salary in the company totals EUR 4.152 and net salary 3.263.
For the usage of services in air traffic in the field of thermal flight control, users of air traffic pay terminal fee, and this year Air Serbia will have the largest number of flights, with the stake of 40% in total traffic which is expected to increase 10- 12%.
Montenegro Airlines is expected to keep the level from 2014, i.e. to have some 5.100 take-offs.
Airline which are presumed to decrease traffic are: Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and Wizz Air, as well as Turkish Airlines.
The newspaper reminds that at the area covered by SMATSA, the most transit is Belgrade airport and the second-ranked is Tivat airport.
