Delta to open distribution center in Stara Pazova in March

Delta DMD's distribution center in Stara Pazova will be put into operation in February and should reach its full capacity in March. It will employ 200 people, and all those interested can still apply for the job, it was said at a press conference organized by Delta Holding.

The surface area of this facility is 20,400 square meters, but there's an option to build additional 14,500 square meters of storage space in the second phase. The complex will have a total of 26,000 pallet places and 30 loading ramps. The value of this investment is 10.2 milllion euro.

According to Dejan Jeremic, executive vice president of Delta Holding, the transportation industry registered the biggest growth last year, and they also have ambitious plans for this year.

Delta DMD accounted for 22% of Delta Holding's total turnover in 2014, while EBITDA was at RSD 683 million. This company also increased its turnover by 5.1% and sales by 3.6%.

Last year, the company expanded its portfolio to include three new brands - Fruvita, Sinalco, Aquarius.
