Moscow is having doubts in Serbian export products

Companies in Serbia do not waste time when it comes to product export to Russian market. However, due to increased quantities of fruit and vegetables with the label “made in Serbia” Russia is asking from our authorities to increase products safety control.

As they said, large quantity of goods with Serbian certificates started arriving so there are doubts in authenticity. The Federal service for veterinary and phito sanitary supervision suggested to sign bilateral document with which Serbian party would secure safety of fruit and vegetables deliver at the Russian market.

- The Russians only stated that fruit and vegetable export boosted – Rasim Ljajic, the minister of trade, said for Novosti.

- Rosselkhoznadzor had video call with our people at the Ministry of agriculture and they have only been told to intensify supervision so that re-export would not happen. Thus they will do it.
