"Beogradske elektrane" counts on investments worth 3.8 billion RSD

- Public company "Beogradske elektrane" plans the investment worth 3.8 billion RSD for this year, but the realization of the program will depend on the funds obtained from the City Assembly – said the General Manager of that company, Vladan Marković.

He said that the program implies, in addition to regular repairs, the works on heating systems in Novi Beograd, Konjarnik, Voždovac, on the territory of heating plant "Dunav", as well as big overhaul of the boiler of 58 MW on Konjarnik.

- For one of the largest projects, which would ensure payment according to consumption of heating energy, the new decision must be made by the City authorities – said Marković.

He pointed out that the company, due to modernization of the network and good cooperation with the Republic Hydro Meteorological Institute, as well as due to high temperatures during the heating season, managed to cut the expenses in half.

The consumption of fuels during this heating season has been reduced by about 22% in comparison with the previous season – said he and pointed out that the company had nice profit from the job with "Jugopetrol" for supply of heating plants.
