March 1 to see construction permist in all municipalities issued in less than a month

As of March 1, all local self-governances in Serbia will completely have to stick to the Law on planning and construction and issue construction permits in a month latest, the minister of construction, traffic and infrastructure, Zorana Mihajlovic, said on Friday, January 23, 2015.

Mihajlovic announced that the registry of local self-governances will be made indicating the speed of permits issuance so that they will compete to rank as good as possible for potential investors

She said all that is a condition for electronic construction permit to be implemented by the end of the year.

Mihajlovic said that the Ministry of introduce SOS phone for local self-governances where officers will be able to get information from the ministry if they encounter some problems in law implementation.

She also outlined that the objective of the Government is that 2015 is a year of the implementation of many projects and that there will be much more sites and investment.
