Chinese Sinema interested in Pancevo-based Staklara

Representatives of Chinese company, Sinema visited Pancevo-based glass plant, Staklara and the responsible governmental institutions. As TV Pancevo finds out, they are interested in rehabilitation of flat glass production which would cost up to EUR 200 m but they also asked about the option of privatization model change. In the meantime, the employees are waiting for the September salary. The state did not accept to provide social program for the ones who would like to leave and business is such that is a question of whether this Pancevo-based, formerly powerful plant, will survive until the privatization announced for March.

Representatives of Chinese company , Sinema, spent three days in Serbia. They visited Staklara where they are interested in privatization and authorities who are working on it, including the Ministry for trade and energy and the Agency for privatization. The head of the Industry of glass, Emanuel Lupulesku , says the idea of the guests from China was to recover the flat glass production plant and the supplementary processing department.
