Halk bank does not give up on Cacanska bank

Turkish state-owned bank, Halk bank, re-entered into negotiation process with respect to acquisition of 76,76% stake at Cacanska bank, the bank announced on Friday.
- Potential of Serbian banking sector and economy resulted in new interest in purchase of Cacanska bank – Turkish bank communicated.
In early December last year, Halk bank
announced it gave up on takeover of Cacanska bank “since it did not succeed in
agreements with respect to price” not stating what the offered totaled.
