Breaking up of "DaimlerChrysler" - "Cerberus" group bought large part of stocks of "Chrysler"

Since yesterday (May 14, 2007), company "DaimlerChrysler" is divided into two companies. It has been announced in Frankfurt that Daimler and Chrysler are breaking up at the price of 7.41 billion USD (5.5 billion EUR), the five times lower price than the one paid in 1998 to have the automobile mega-corporation created.

The new boss of 80.1% of "Chrysler" is "Cerberus", the private investment fund, while "Daimler", which returns to its old name, keeps the share of 19.9%

Company "DaimlerCrhysler Srbija i Crna Gora" announces that this company will continue to invest and support further development of products of brands Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge on our market, with the maximal devotion to satisfaction of the buyers and growth of the profit, in order to remain successful on the market.
