Young leaders from Serbia to get practical training in companies in Germany

- Total of 24 young people from Serbia participate in this-year Scholarship Program of German economy "Zoran Đinđić". They will spent several months in the most famous German companies where they will get practical training – the people from "Fund Dr. Zoran Đinđić" announced yesterday (May 14, 2007).

Since 2004, 80 young people have participated in the Scholarship Program, and many of them are today on the leading positions in successful companies in Serbia.

Opening seminar for this-year participants, the Head of the Administrative Board of the Fund, Ružica Đinđić, said that the chances were great that we would become equal part of the large community of educated European nations.

- Whether that is really going to happen depends, to a great extent, on you and your peers, on your strength, will and civil courage – she said to the young people who will soon depart for Germany.

The Ambassador of Germany, Andreas Cobel, said that the question was no more whether Europe wanted Serbia, but whether Serbia wanted Europe.
