NBS: Permit take away to Development Bank of Vojvodina justifiable

Taking the permit to the Development Bank of Vojvodina is the only right thing to do, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has announced today, adding that the stte had to set aside additional RSD 6,36 billion to cover deposit in the bank.

NBS stated that the bank in bankruptcy will settle all the debts as well as that there will be surplus cash left which shareholders will share.

- Not even after two years from taking the working permit away to the Development Bank of Vojvodina, payment collection from bankruptcy mass did completely provide funds for payments of mentioned liabilities totaling two billion dinars. That fact additionally speaks in favor of the fact that permit taking away was the only right solution – NBS stated.
