Fiat 500L 2014 sales in USA ten times lower than in 2013

The management of Kragujevac-based Fiat will have to consider launching a new model given that the company's 2014 exports to the USA were ten times lower than the year before.
This was announced by economist Sasa Djogovic, who also said that Fiat 500L was our best-selling model in that country.
Djogovic told a press conference in Market Research Institute (IZIT) that Serbia's surplus in trade with the USA had reached USD 199.5 million in 2013, mainly owing to Fiat automobili Srbije's exports.
As he explained, demand for this model fell in 2014, reducing our country's trade surplus to only USD 15 million.
He also reminded that, in line with economic rules, it was necessary to launch a new profitable model when demand for an old product started dropping.
As he said, demand for Fiat 500L in the USA has been on decline and the price of this model is also not competitive there.
