Serbia paid Russia the first installment of debt for gas

In line with agreement of the Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic and Russian president Vladimir Putin, Serbia paid Russia USD 100 m as the first gas debt installment, Vecernje novosti reports, stating the sources at the Government of Serbia.

Thus, Serbia, as Vecernje novosti reports, settled half the energy debt totaling USD 224 m.

Vucic and Putin agreed on model payment in three installments.

The next installment of one hundred dollars should be paid by the end of 2015 and the third of USD 24 m are due during 2016.
