Contract on construction of the second part of the Scientific and technological park of the University in Novi Sad signed

At the official hall of the Central building of the Rector’s of the University in Novi Sad, on Friday, December 26, 2014, contract with respect to funding terms and implementation method of the construction of the Scientific and technological park of the University in Novi Sad was signed.

The contract was signed by: Vladimir Pavlov, provincial secretary for science and technological development, dr. Aleksandar Belic, state secretary at the Ministry of science, education and technological development, prof. dr. Aleksandar Simonovic, head at "JUP istraživanje i razvoj", prof. d. Miroslav Veskovic, rector of the University in Novi Sad and prof. dr Rade Doroslovacki, the dean of the Faculty of technical sciences at the University in Novi Sad.

The objective of the Scientific and technological park is to become internationally recognized regional center for dynamic development and international promotion of innovative and technological projects and companies in priority field of importance for the Faculty of technical sciences at the University, Novi Sad, Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Republic of Serbia.

Scientific and technological park of the University in Novi Sad , in line with the project, will occupy 29.134,50 m2. The project comprises area for research labs of the Faculty of technical sciences, business incubator, scientific-research institutions of special importance for AP Vojvodina development and high tech companies, mainly in IT technologies field. The works and services in this project stage are estimated at EUR 136 m.
