In 2014, 154 bankruptcy processes opened

This year, Serbia saw opening of 154 bankruptcy processes and eight reorganization plans have been adopted, the acting head of the Agency for licensing trustees in bankruptcy, Ivana Matic, said on Wednesday.
At the presentation of the first number of expert magazine, “Bankruptcy instructor”, she said that in Serbia, there are 486 licensed trustees in bankruptcy, 322 of which are active.
Matic stressed out that the Agency for licensing trustees in bankruptcy paid some RSD (EUR 1,1 m) of profit from previous year to the budget of Serbia.
Planned activities in 2014 have been implemented from significant financial savings and numerous educational events have been organized through the support of domestic and foreign partners, without costs of the Agency, she said.
Matic said this year saw changes of the Law on bankruptcy, where the Agency contributed a lot in its development and public discussion.
The expert magazine, “Bankruptcy instructor”, published by the Agency for licensing trustees in bankruptcy and Paragraf company, is for businessmen and wider expert audience interested in bankruptcy field.
It will be published quarterly and is free for trustees in
bankruptcy and e-version will be available within the legal base "Paragraf
lex".
