NIS procures oil and gas exploration software totalling EUR 500.000

The Oil Industry of Serbia started procurement process for modern and unique software which will develop oil and gas exploration in the Panonija basin within the program for technological development of oil and gas exploration processes.

As the company announced, the software procurement is in line with the developmental plan for scientific – technological base of NIS which continuously develops company business.

The PetroMod software package is procured from Schlumberger, which is one of the leading world companies in oil industry. PetroMod is top software for numeric modelling of the basin and the first commercial application in the Balkans will be at the Scientific-technological center of NIS.

More than EUR 500.000 will be poured in the new software; it was communicated in the announcement.
