Montenegro gives priority to construction of highway toward Serbia, feasibility study to be ready by the end of year 2007

By the end of December 2007, the feasibility study on construction of highway towards Serbia will be completed. The investment councilor for the study, which will give answers to all questions related to this highway and the Adriatic-Ionic motorway, will be known prior to July 12.

Minister Andrija Lompar stated that the priority was given to the highway towards Serbia and that the Adriatic-Ionic motorway would be left for the next phase.

By the way, 170 km of road toward Serbia will cost about 1.7 billion EUR, while 110 km of Adriatic-Ionic motorway cost 660m EUR. The roads will be built through concessions.
