METRO Cash & Carry Russia continues negotiations on food purchase from Serbia

Representatives of Serbian producers and METRO Cash & Carry will soon meet again to start implementation of proposal of food export to Russian market, METRO Cash & Carry has announced today.

Last week, the delegation of METRO Cash & Carry Russia met with more than 30 Serbian producers and food suppliers with the support of the Serboan Chamber of Commerce. The objective is to consider options of placement of Serbian food products through METRO Cash & Carry in Russia,

METRO Russia is trying to provide stable and quality supplying of its customers with all products, looking for new suppliers from countries which have not been imposing export embargo to Russia.

Serbian producers showed clear which to cooperate with METRO Russia.

One Serbian frozen food producer has been continuously supplying METRO Cash & Carry Russia since August 2014 and the cooperation has been running smoothly.
