EBRD approves Serbia loan for digitalization completion

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has approved today to PC Emisiona tehnika i veze a loan totaling EUR 24 m for transfer from analogue to digital TV signal emitting which provided funds for successful digitalization process end in Serbia.

It has been obvious now that not entire fund will be used since for equipment procurement and digital emitting devices, instead of estimated EUR 16,6 m, EUR 10 m will be spent which is the price the most favorable bidder, consortium headed by Rhode&Schwarz offered at tender.

Savings will be generated also on construction, rehabilitation of 208 digital signal emitting locations Serbia-wide where EBRD funds have also been planned.
