Italian companies, Med-Italia and Savio Firmino open plants in Jagodina

President of the Assembly of Jagodina, Dragan Markovic Palma, announced that Med-Italia operating in production of medical equipment, i.e. medical blood bottles, Savio Firmino, operating in style furniture production are coming to the city, Accoridng to Markovic, Med-Italia confirmed in the letter of intention it wants to open the plant in Jagodina and the investment will enable 60 new hires and will total EUR 7-8 m, it was published at the official city website.

- The contract is expected to be signed early next year and in March plant construction should start. Apart from this plant, secure investment is the plant for production of style furniture, Savio Firmino, also Italian investor, which has a large market in Russia. We expect that in early 2015 signing of the contract on hall renting where. At this moment, Jagodina can say the largest European industrial center since none of the cities in the world, has seven plants in one locations, one Russian and six Italians – Markovic said and announced opening of the plant of German investor which will operate in production of reproduction material for Italian plan Andrea Confezioni and which will hire 100 people and the owner of this Italian plant also confirmed their arrival.
