Belgrade-Budapest railroad construction underway - Cooperation agreements between Serbian and Hungarian parties signed

Two agreements of cooperation of Serbian and Hungarian railways as well as other customs authorities, have been signed today within the Summit of China and 16 CEE countries in Belgrade.

As RTS announced, agreements were signed in the presence of the prime ministers of China, Serbia, Hungary and Macedonia and they are a part of the agreement on modernization and construction of Belgrade-Budapest railroad which should later go through Skoplje to Athens.

In their mutual addressing to the public at the Belgrade’s Hyatt hotel, prime ministers expressed satisfaction for construction of Belgrade-Budapest railroad, estimating it will be for the benefit of the CEE countries, EU and general cooperation of China with this part of the world.

Li Kequiang expressed expectation the railroad will be completed in two years.
