WhatsApp gets web version

According to Android World, the most popular IM mobile application will soon get its web version. Research of WhatsApp program resources for Android resulted in web application references.

The results led to conclusion that users of WhatsApp, apart from the chat option, will be able to see when their contacts were last seen. Apart from that, the founder of Telegram application, the application which has an ambitious objective to replace WhatsApp, has recently said that WhatsApp contacted their web programmer in order to hire him.

WhatsApp;s owner, Facebook, has not reveled yet its plans when it comes to web application development. They confirmed the video calls functionality is arriving during next year.
